My father was a 76 year-old Parkinson's patient who also had Dementia. He resided in the Alzheimer's Unit at Clifton Lutheran Sunset Home. My father's Medicaid application did not come through, and so he developed an outstanding balance with this Nursing Home. As a result, Clifton Lutheran Sunset Home kicked him out, refused to let him go home with any of his medications, and then they took him to Court. My father was a sick, elderly, frail person.
