My uncle was in their care until he died. There were a couple decent workers & 2 decent nurses that cared for him. Most just seemed to sit around on their phones. Letha & Cindy were prompt but Letha had compassion. The manager never got along with my uncle & overlooked him & his care & all he ever did was put on a fake smile in front of our family. We trusted Lutheran Senior Life’s hospice program to keep my father comfortable and supported during his final days. I am grateful for the kindness shown by a few staff members, but overall the service fell far short of what hospice care should be. I would not recommend this hospice program based on our experience; the gaps in clinical responsiveness, communication, and equipment made my father’s comfort difficult to achieve. My grandma is a fighter. My grandma is a rock to so many people. My grandma loves her family with every part of her body and soul. Shes always been a person to help others, to be there for anyone. If you don’t know her by grandma you know her by “Sis,” and most likely you love her like she’s your own grandma. Monday December 30th, my grandma walked into a doctor appointment and was sent straight to Seneca Medical Center for what they thought was cellulitis in her legs.
