My mother and our family had a wonderful experience with all the people that worked with us at Lutheran Home. You have amazing staff.
My mother spent about 4 weeks at Lutheran Home after back surgery. Some of the staff members were attentive to her needs while others were not. Overall, I felt the communication was poor. There seemed to be confusion as to the meds she was taking. I left 3 messages for the nursing director, Christy, and she never returned my call. They also left my mother unattended in the bathroom and she suffered a fall. The facility is nice but I cannot give more than 2 stars overall.
My brother has been at the Lutheran home in long term care for a few months. It’s an excellent facility, very clean and peaceful. The nursing staff are wonderful. Everyone here is kind and welcoming. The rooms are nice and always clean. It’s a great place and my brother’s heath has improved and he’s happy here.
