Not very happy with the facility. My father was transferred from the hospital for rehab. The hospital told us he would be there for 7-10 days. He was there for a month and his condition worsened. His physical therapy was minimal, he became incontinent and was wearing adult diapers, Several occasions he layed in a soiled diaper for Hours, at least 3 times of 4 hours and once over 6 hours. My 90 year old mother is a resident. If you are considering this facility keep in mind they are making all their systems automated and online, which has been extremely difficult for my mother. Everything from signing up for trips, ordering food and making dinner reservations is expected to be done online. It’s ridiculous to expect this generation to have to use their phones to make meal plans. Unacceptable.
I am a Luther Crest resident. Shortly after my wife and I moved here, she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. I was able to care for her in our cottage for more than five years, but her condition worsened to the point where she needed to move to the nursing home (called the Health Care Center here). She lived there for over three years before she passed away last fall. I spent many hours with her every day and was able to observe the workings of the nursing home.
