I was ready to buy a bike… spend a lot of money… the guy in there clearly was not motivated to sell anything to me…didn’t ask me any questions, such as what type of riding I’d be doing, etc. I asked about delivery, he said no…but had he been friendly or helpful, I would have gladly figured out a way to get it home. I called later to ask why he didn’t try to sell me a bike… he said Linus was low on inventory and I’d “probably have to buy it online anyway”. Very disappointing.

Visiting the Los Angeles area for vacation from SF Bay Area, had to check out this bike shop for their Maap kits. When I walked in Max was immediately very helpful, he was very knowledgeable about all their gear and went absolutely above and beyond to help, not only were we able to order the kits that I wanted (with some help from Wes), but Max took more than an hour of his time to custom build me routes on Strava to try while I’m visiting. The guys were great and I’m very pleased with my experience.
A cornerstone of LA cycling culture. If you’re looking for cool brands, friendly chat and insight to the LA scene you go to Luft.
Very nice shop, parking always available street-side out front. Max is always really friendly and helpful and gets me back on my way in no time when my bike is facing issues.
