Husband and wife team owners, Jeff and Desiree Van Horn, operate Lucky Road from completely different backgrounds. Jeff was an often injured sub-elite runner with a degree in sports medicine. Desiree enjoyed half marathons from the back of the pack and obstacle events like tough mudder. Together they have created a happy and helpful atmosphere where everyone is welcome."

April is a rock star! I didn't have enough time on my lunch break to find shoes because there were other guests being helped, but she got my shoe size and needs and as soon as I got off work I came back and she had a stack of shoes for me to try ready and waiting. I found my perfect pair and finally my feet are pain-free! She was able to educate me on a needed heel drop which no other store was willing to discuss. Great people and awesome products!
As usual, the place looked great and the folks running Lucky Road were super helpful. I needed socks. There were sales on socks, thus, I got lots of socks!
I was blown away by the knowledge and care I was given by April!!!! Best shoe buying experience ever! Never buying shoes for work anywhere else!
