As a long-term real estate broker and investor I was selling off one of my former rental homes for $115K and received an offer from a buyer using Luke Schmidt of Berkshire Hathaway Professional Realty. The offer utilized an FHA loan and required a $5700 seller payment for "buyer closing costs", the purpose for these high costs being undisclosed to the seller.
