Lowe's response is inadequate, as he doesn't address issues I raised. To give him credit, it is true he helped get my mom out of an unjust conservatorship. The court has imposed conservatorship on quite a few capable elderly people. Lowe did help remove my cousin as Trustee, which is good. This trustee decided he wanted a percentage of the estate rather than the fee agreed upon, and went to court to get this higher fee. Once they get in power, they use the estate to benefit themselves. Gregory Lowe"s involvement as an attorney for my mother has led to disaster for my family. To be fair I want to note that he did help get her out of an unjust conservatorship, which is hard to do in the Santa Barbara court system. She was a competent person who knew what she wanted, and never should have been put under conservatorship at age 78. For this, I give Lowe credit. Gregory Lowe helped initially in the beginning with getting my mom out of conservatorship, but things changed. He brought Will Jones, CPA to our family, and recommended him as trustee, a huge disaster. After my mom passed, Jones refused to provide quarterly accountings required by the court--Greg Lowe had drawn up the petition to the court requiring that. I called him for help and he picked up the phone - no answering machine. He was very willing to advise and was VERY helpful in guiding me to some resolution of my problem. I now feel like I have a friend in the business.
