Well I am very disappointed with my experience for the very short time with them. There is no compensation for any training because they’re presenting it as a CEU course which you get the credits when you work for them for a year. But if you’re terminated before you begin the employment phase, because you complain about having to drive 2 1/2 hours one way. Then those two weeks basically were done for nothing.
Great place to work! Super supportive office and clinical staff! Low Vision Works is truly a company that cares about their patients. Excellent training program and continuing education options. As a healthcare provider, it is difficult to find a company that matches my desire for putting patients first and providing individualized and quality care. Low Vision Works has been a place that not only does that, but continually fuels my passion for occupational therapy.
I have been the Office Manager for Low Vision Works Of FL for several years. I drive about an hour to get to work every day and I would drive 2 hours if I had to. I have never been so happy to come to work in all of my career than I am here. I do not consider this place just my employment, but more of my home during the day.
