A fabulous truck stop experience! Like any other Love's Travel Stop, there were a PLETHORA of both hot and cold food options for lunch, plenty of drinks to choose from, plenty of space in the bathroom, and lots of clothing and various accessories to buy! There is also a dog park and a Hardee's restaurant here. But what makes this place stand out to me is how they sell reflective yellow clothing like what you see road workers wear, and they have a maintenance garage for your truck too! The staff at the shop are lazy and very unprofessional. It took 4 hours to do a basic DOT inspection after I was told it would be 45 minutes once the mechanic started. The only work necessary to pass the DOT inspection was to install a missing mud flap. The workers were goofing off and the manager was useless. Don't waste your time with these "people ".
This is a decent truck stop, it has a decent amount of parking for trucks. The restroom was clean, but the soap is scented. If you are sensitive to smells like I am the last thing you want is to be poisoned by scents. Overall a decent stop. No one was present at the counter, no greeting and scented soap lost a star.
Usually trust Loves to be clean and orderly. I visited this location on 7/26/25 at about 5:45pm. First thing I saw was trash cans overflowing. They looked like they had not been emptied in days. There was trash in the parking lot. There were buckets set out for window cleaner. The whole front just looked terrible. Old. And disorganized. Its really a let down.
I only review when I receive exceptional service. And Armando, the mechanic that was on shift on Saturday, July 19th was exceptional and he wasn’t even the one to fix my truck. But he was the one that before he closed up the shop got up under my truck to make sure the right part was available. He also was very professional and allowed me to stay at the shop overnight in the shop parking space so I could be first the next morning to get service.
