Mum needed respite care 2 years ago and Lovat House was chosen. It became obvious during that time that mum would not cope being back in her own home. We looked at other care homes but felt that Lovat House was the most homely. The staff were very caring with mum and encouraged her to join in with activities. The garden is lovely in the summer and the residents enjoy watching the birds even in the winter. As a family we were always made to feel welcome. We would have no hesitation in recommending Lovat House.

Lovat house is one best care home I work for.u have all the quality time to spend with residents. Manger Fiona boss Ian are soo supportive helpful careing for residents and staff .am very lucky to be part of they team God bless them.

As you will remember Mum was very worried about going into a home as she had had so many years of supported independence in her own home. When it became obvious that her mobility had deteriorated such that she needed extra help we agreed (after much searching) she should move into Lovat House and I was delighted that she settled in so quickly and is only sorry that she didn’t take this step sooner. My Nan at 92 years old found herself in need of a care home, she had lived in Wokingham her whole life so she wanted to stay local so that her friends could still visit. We looked at several different facilities and from the minute we walked through the door of Lovat House we knew that we had found her new home ….. that was 7 years ago, she has thrived since she has been there!!
