A lot of the people who did good reviews here only have a few reviews which is highly suspicious. I got COMPLETELY RIPPED OFF by Lou’s Custom Exhaust at 195 Newport Ave in East Prov. It’s my fault for not price checking beforehand, but I let these reviews, which I now think many are friends of his, sway me. The owner charged me $550 and I found out later it was a $250 job! It was the EXACT SAME REPAIR. Don’t make the same mistake as me and look around for a real reference and quote. Maybe now that I posted this Lou’s will kn... read more
From a Nissan dealership and other shops, I was quoted up to $3,000 to replace my exhaust system. I brought it to Jay and his son at Lou's, and got it done for 1/5 of the price. The car is probably more quiet now than it was brand new! They were outgoing and fervent about only charging and doing exactly what had to be done, and not adding any "mystery problems" and up charging. If you need exhaust work, you will be doing yourself a major favor by calling up Jay!
These guys are great! I had an exhaust leak coming down from my manifold. I had previously had work done at a Lou’s from a different location, so I was really happy to find this one down this way as I am new to this area. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I knew these guys for years! Very friendly and great conversations! They put my car on a lift and we looked at it together.
