I’m so happy I found Louise. She has a level of care and attention to detail that really sets her apart. She knows her fabrics, has a great sense of humor and is no frills. I’d recommend her to anyone who needs wedding dress alterations. I danced, ran upstairs, downstairs and the dress did not budge :)
Louise is fantastic!! I purchased my wedding dress a few sizes larger because it was the last in stock. She was able to match my proportion and height wonderfully! Like most brides, I lost weight due to stress throughout all the fittings. She graciously resized the dress each time, even adding a band to help tighten it just in case! I found Louise through a friend's recommendation after being given a pretty high quote from a bridal shop, and she did such a great job altering my dress at a very reasonable price. Her quote came in at about 2/3 the price of the original quote, and I felt like her approach was much more personal and not transactional, which was very reassuring. Louise is a career excellent seamstress. The walls of her studio are covered with phots of dresses she has altered and made. I trusted her entirely. Her prices were fair, she had an easy to access studio, and she was always timely and precise.
