Love this place and a sustainable and safe home for my mom!
Shout out to Taffy and the rest of the staff at Avista. I have been struggling to find an affordable place for my grandma and they were so kind and patient. Taffy spent time with me explaining my options and providing me a tour of their beautiful building. I appreciate how helpful they were, and everyone was so friendly!!
My grandmother stayed there for several months while her husband was recovering from surgery, and the experience was truly wonderful. The staff were incredibly caring, attentive, and always willing to accommodate her needs. They made her feel welcome and supported from the moment she arrived. She hadn’t been that lively or social in years, but during her stay she made several meaningful friendships and enjoyed participating in activities with other residents. Not only does the building have a beautiful and homey feeling to it. The staff is unbelievable, saying they care is a complete understatement i have witnessed on at least 2 occasions staff come in on their day off to celebrate birthdays as well as sit with residents in their final hours. That is how close they become to the people they care for. They genuinely care, and enjoy their job which to me is an important factor to consider when leaving your loved ones in the hands of others.
