I started my journey with Lotus Psychotherapy in 2020. I arrived in crisis mode, closed minded, skeptical and scared. Really disappointed with Lotus' staff and advisors -- please be careful with whom you entrust your mental health. Specifically, NOT STEPHANIE. Please beware of people who just want to be therapists despite if they're even helping anyone. In general, quite disorganized and unprofessional. On an unusual note, the front desk staff are amazing and respectful.
I had a difficult experience with a therapist at this practice that left me feeling unsupported, dismissed, and emotionally worse after sessions. Despite opening up about deeply personal trauma, I often felt like I was just dumping pain without receiving any meaningful tools or direction. My final session was especially upsetting — the therapist was on her phone while I was sharing something incredibly vulnerable, which felt like a complete violation of trust and safety.
