I had a very frustrating experience with Nikki Moshinsky from Los Angeles Federal Credit Union (LAFCU) while trying to refinance my car loan. On the first day, she assured me that because I am self-employed, I wouldn’t need a paystub and could qualify for the loan using only bank statements. This gave me hope and I proceeded with the process, including allowing a credit check (hard pull). So glad to have a location in the SF Valley area. Staff are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Security is always a great greeter.
If you move from out of town or state, don't bother trying to set up an account here as they make it impossible. Online it states you can provide a current utility bill if the address on your ID isn't current, so I went into this branch and was told no to the documents I brought in verifying my address, that I'd need to wait til I got my California ID.
