I’m new to the area, having just moved from the Northeast, and I’m so grateful that this community center, library, and park exist here. I visited with my 63-year-old mother-in-law, who doesn’t speak English, and my 18-month-old daughter, and it was such a refreshing experience. We came late in the afternoon and were warmly greeted by staff as children were leaving from their activities. I’m so frustrated at yall. This library made a huge book giveaway program on 2/8/2025. Every kid could come pick out up to 10 books! Our kids were so excited! We rushed out the door and skipped basketball practice so we could get there early with our 4 kids. We got there only to find signs that said it was postponed… the library was full of families that all came for this book giveaway program. My kids were so disappointed. Yall should be ashamed.
