overall the center has great programs and a good pantry and some of the action team members genuinely try to help you but it seems to me like alot of chiefs and not that much indians, also , dont waste your time with the thrift store vouchers , they barely give you anything and it seems that they have forgotten that the items originally were given to them by people looking to help people. I’m new to the area, having just moved from the Northeast, and I’m so grateful that this community center, library, and park exist here. I visited with my 63-year-old mother-in-law, who doesn’t speak English, and my 18-month-old daughter, and it was such a refreshing experience. We came late in the afternoon and were warmly greeted by staff as children were leaving from their activities.
