Lori was inspired to become a certified nurse midwife (CNM) by the midwives she worked with when she was a labor and delivery nurse. Their approach to prenatal care was so much more inclusive and patient-centered than anything else that she had ever experienced. Lori loves being a CNM because every day is a new experience for her.
