The city of Elyria sucks beyond reason. My property taxes literally doubled and these scumbags don’t even plow our street when it snows.
it is 2024 and I still can't pay my bill online or via ACH. I've been asking them for years. pathetic.
I called to see if I had a balance due on my property taxes and Barb was so rude and laughing at me on the phone. Questioning why I am calling to see if I had a balance. It was the most unprofessional phone conversation I’ve had with an office in a while. If you call, I would recommend not speaking to Barb.
Unfriendly and unhelpful. You would think they would be able to make things easier to pay real estate taxes. Online payments would be nice but if I could at least receive a bill informing me its due would be helpful. Telling me I have to call every 6 months to have a bill sent for the last couple years is ridiculous.
