Yesterday (6/7/25) I put on an event for 20+ people to ride the Loop Trolley, and I was very dissatisfied with our experience. We followed the schedule exactly, and the trolley only showed up for 2 of 6 of the scheduled arrivals. We were outside the History Museum waiting to board at 11:40, boarded the trolley at 11:45, but by 11:50 the trolley operator told us that after the tornado, she didn't want to take a chance and run the trolley in the rain. They just started running the trolley again.
This is a wonderful slice of St. Louis history and a great way to travel stress-free. My only nit-pick was that I couldn't understand what the conductors were saying when they spoke. I plan on return trips with friends to get from Forest Park to the Loop and back again - nice way to pass the time and not have to hassle with Delmar parking!
