I went to Longo’s with my sister today for some basic groceries. We went through self-checkout, and the employee there watched us pay. While we were loading our bags after paying, an employee (a white woman) came up to us and loudly asked if we were allowed to put our items in the bag without paying. People turned around and looked, even though the screen had already refreshed because we had just finished paying.
