It’s reassuring to know our great aunt is cared for so well. She enjoys her space and says the food is great. She has made friends very quickly which is fantastic. She also really appreciates the young helpers that come in during the week.
Moving into Longlake Chateau has been such a positive and comforting experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcomed and supported throughout the entire transition. Moving can be stressful, but everyone was kind, patient, and always willing to help answer questions and make the process smooth. It is beautiful everyone was so friendly. They even gave us a delicious meal. It is like being on a cruise ship but not moving. My sister & brother in law took me & they were impressed also. Cant wait to start my next step.
Nicely up kept, nice interior and meals are good but the care aids are uncaring and verging on neglectful for someone who is requiring more aid. It didnt appear that way when we went for a look about before moving in. Billing is confusing and padded at times with no heads up. Staff dont care to communicate much nor help less able residents get to events. Also office staff over burdened by having to help in the dining room. It could be a wonderful place but it is not.
