All I can say is WOW. This place has the most amazing beautiful items!! I just bought the most beautiful Theodore Alexander game table. I am beyond excited !! Looks absolutely gorgeous in my office.
The owners have clearly not been keeping up with the antique trade, as almost the whole store consists of highly overpriced items. Sure,the prices they have things at were decent perhaps 15 years ago,when furniture was a hot market,but now it's a dead market. I've tried to do business with them in the past,and either their offers were unbelievably low or they wouldn't budge a inch on price. This business is selling items of mine that were sold to them by another business owner (Gary Nadel of Backdoor Antiques) that stole the items from me. Every time I reach out to Long Valley Traders, they refuse to respond when I offer all proof of ownership.
Dave is the owner and scours estate sales to bring us all sorts of antiquities. LONG VALLEY TRADERS carry original pieces and some, selected, replica furniture pieces. Dave does have a specialized interest in Theodore Alexander, Henkel Harris, and Maitland Smith designed furniture.
