They are all about the money!!! Our family was concerned by a recent billing change at Lone Mountain Memory Care. Even though medication management decreased due to increased family involvement, the facility reassessed my mother from Level 2 to Level 3 care, raising costs by about $600 per month. My mother's ability did not change, just their algorithm. The algorithm changed in order to increase rent/care rates. I want to share my experience with Lone Mountain Memory Care so other families can make an informed decision. Our mother fell and fractured her pelvis in four places. We knew she needed around-the-clock care, so after visiting multiple facilities, we chose Lone Mountain Memory Care based on their reputation and promises of quality care. Sadly, our mother was there for only eight days before we had to take her back to the hospital. She fell twice while at the facility during her 8 days stay.
