My kids bought me this over 3 years ago. I love it, as we eat mostly fruit and veggies had a ton of waste. Compost bins attract rodents etc. I've read some of the reviews and am dumbfounded. The customer service we have received goes above anything I'd expect. Live in Victoria so garden year round. My gardens are thriving with the lomi dirt, especially the flowers. I run it at least 4 or 5 times a week. Had to get a new bucket about a year ago, it was covered under my warranty. Needed a new fan recently, arrived within a wee... read more

I've had the Lomi composter for about a year and I do enjoy it. However the customer service (they don't respond timely) is horrible and the cost for the charcoal pellets & tablets is absurdly expensive for what you get (expect at least an extra $120 per year + operational costs). It will still function without, however the smell is uncomfortably bad. To leverage the full capabilities you must really want to love composting. I'm still pleased with it's capabilities...just disappointed with customer service user experience an... read more

Our family has had our Lomi since the kickstarter rounds, so almost 6 years. It has changed the way we manage food waste. We use it every night in the fastest mode-eco and I put the waste in the yard. Admittedly, I have not used it for composting simply because we want the ability to use it everyday on the counter. Just recently we have had an issue with the bucket and the fan. Completely understandable because we use the heck out of the thing. Lomi customer service is AMAZING. They answer quickly and thoroughly, help with t... read more

Can't be more impressed with the customer service. I read a previous review from K. Pasco (sp?) which was my exact problem. Mine was replaced in days. Wow was my response!!!
