At 7:50am, the guy at the counter was rude and had an attitude. End of shift or not, that is not ok, and I say this as a long time retail/fast food worker. Not only that, but he scanned several items multiple times and wouldn't let me really object because he kept interrupting me every time I opened my mouth. He also did it slowly and deliberately, MAKING EYE CONTACT WHILE HE DOUBLE SCANNED THINGS. I asked for an itemized receipt and he didn't want to give it to me. They are amazing, they let us use the restroom after they closed and without buying anything. Cannot speak on the food but very nice and amazing people!
The lady that I met here last year was a wonderful woman. She helped me a lot in everything I asked for. She's familiar with the area and helped me to find the best trails that fit my capabilities to hike. I used to pass by her every day when I stayed in that area for a few days. I appreciate all her help and advice.
Great gas station. Very homeless friendly location. If you need a place to crash for a month or two this is it. Love the staff here.
