Historical Site This airdock is what made the city of Akron famous and gave it a place on the map. I was amazed when I went on a tour through it.The building was built in 1929 and it is one of the largest buildings in the world that contains no interior supports. The interior arches are on rollers and are for contraction and chnages in temperature. It is really a site to see.
