Stopped in for a drink after touring the Capitol complex... decent drinks and had the Pretzel appetizer, a little on the pricey side but service was friendly and efficient and we enjoyed our visit
Superb pub in Old Town Albany with authentic decor, friendly service, welcoming atmosphere, and the most AMAZING cuisine you'll find anywhere. We had their cottage pie and it was THE BEST version of that dish we've ever found, anywhere on the planet. HIGHLY recommended! Big shout-out to Nicole, Kevin and Brendon who were all far beyond fantastic.
What a fantastic find! The bar is cool with vintage tin ceilings and Art Deco, which provided a homey, lived in feel that is both comfortable and relaxing. I don't say this often, but Loch & Quay has a great vibe. I sat at the bar and Nicole G. took care of me by crafting a perfect Hendrick's Gin martini. Soon after, I dined on their Cottage Pie: potatoes, Guinness broth, cheese, scallions, corn, and celery, and great seasoning in the tender meat. It was fun.
