I was expecting a swift process for an IRRRL. The LO ensured me the loan had been approved then after receiving my Mortgage Note and a requested LOE they then asked for an impossible document then denied my application after the confirmed approval. I wasted a month with them doing a simple IRRRL. They didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience, misunderstanding or potential deception. I wouldn’t recommend them although I hope others have better experiences.

My experience with Loan United was unacceptable. The “manager” I spoke with was rude, combative, and completely unhelpful. She talked over me, showed no empathy, and made no effort to listen. When I asked for her last initial for documentation, she refused. She also refused to escalate the call to her reporting manager, which is unprofessional and concerning for a company handling VA‑backed loans. This was some of the worst customer service I’ve ever received.

I have had an awful experience with loan united. Went with a refinance and was told that the point t fee would fall off and it didn't. I regret ever going with them. Can't get a hold of customer service no responses to emails. The entire refinancing process was a nightmare. I have done many refinance and this company was by far the worst experience. I recommend you go with someone else. They transfered my loan and still won't tell me to WHO. A nightmare. There is a whole reddit thread on how awful this company is for vets.

Dom Johnson , my loan officer was very honest with me in every thing. He had a leg up on when my appointments where . He also text or talked every day of what was next. I'm thankful for his concern for customers. Deal signed. Thanks again Dom Johnson for what you did for me.

Do not share any personal information with this company. I was assured by Ken Kenzalow that my credit would not be pulled unless I explicitly decided to move forward. However, without my consent or any warning, he ran a hard inquiry on my credit. When I confronted him, he claimed it was an accident — but to my knowledge, pulling a credit report costs money and requires deliberate action, making it highly unlikely this was unintentional. Since that unauthorized inquiry, my personal information has clearly been shared or sold.... read more
