I had the best experience with Michelle! She was very helpful throughtout the process and still checks on me 6 months later! I recently took a mortgage with Loan Depot (assigned by a new build construction company). Loan Depot does not allow for auto payment for the first few months due to loans being sold to other companies. After 90 days I had the option to opt-into the auto-pay and it was confirmed through the website. For some reason, the auto-pay was denied without my knowledge and the website blocked the ability to pay automatically. I did not know this. The worst experience in history of loans and mortgages. Disorganized, poor communication, failure to meet deadlines, it's a mess with these people. Find funding elsewhere.
Don't Do Business with this POS Company!!! I started this process just after 6-16-24. Loan Depot and I began communication on a home refi for home projects and debt consolidation. I got all information together and submitted. Prior to closing then they decide I need a home appraisal. Stewart Valuation Intelligence who works for Loan Depot had a Steve Bailey from Lowcountry Real Estate Appraisals come out. One of the projects was to get our inground pool closed.
