Bad customer service. Slow
I wish I could give it negative stars. They ran my credit, I got approved for the loan, and then I never heard from them again. Not only that, it shows up on my credit as if I have a mortgage loan and I don’t. I can’t get it off my credit and it has a huge impact on my score. This is a nightmare
I checked several top refinance options. The other big name lenders didn’t come to close. There was as much as 400 per month in payments difference. They all said they could beat the offer but once I showed the the estimate I got they got quite as a church mouse. I closed the loan in less than 30 days. So Rocket, Ameri mortgage, was just two ,you could not get close. We would strongly encourage everyone to find anyone OTHER than Loan Depot for lending. They strung us along until a week before closing, just to lie and say they didn’t know what type of employment we held…when they sent us copies of our employment, funds, etc. Communication was horrible. We felt like we were stalking them and phone calls went days without getting returned. They are obviously not well trained in honesty and if not for our realtor/builder being witness to their dishonesty, we’d have lost our money. Please do ... read more
