Loan depot decided to raise my mortgage payments and more back in November/December 2025 without any notice to me and then expect payment beginning in January 1st , they always call me send letters to me to stress me out I plan to file lawsuits against them and have c.f.p.b. and others look into this matter and act accordingly on my behalf!!!
I would give no stars if I could. They were working on refinancing our loan for a lower rate. Our house is in better shape now than when they wrote the original loan. (New siding, new gutters, new deck). They sent an “appraiser” to our house for the refinance, and his report came back saying “here’s what the house will be worth IF you make these repairs…” followed by a very long list of things that we had planned to do with the refinance cash out. The ISAOA/ATIMA insurance (Lender-Placed Insurance Evidence of Hazard Insurance-total rip off and doesnt pay or do anything when we had them two years ago) department is chaos! There is no way to call them and they try to nickel and dime you with that bogus insurance they offer! We have homeowners coverage and they keep trying to charge us and put us on their horrible insurance. They have made multiple mistakes and each time they blame me or the bank. I have to take out from my busy schedule to call multiple people to finally figure out all along it was in fact their fault. All of the employees I talk to, don’t seem to know what they’re doing or talking about. I have been trying to get a hold of the employee in charge of my loan for a week and half cause I have the opportunity to reduce my loan mortgage, but he will not return my calls. Three days before closing, Loan Depot sells the loan to another lender. Completely destroying my seller's ability to close on the home on time. Horrible.
