LoanDepot is a trashcan company that uses robo caller and will literally blow someone’s phone up all day. If you have to harass people to earn business you need to rethink your business model.
Went to Loan Depot to get some quotes for a HELOC. Instead of 3-4 banks reaching out, I have been inundated with 7-10 spam phone calls EVERY day indicating that "You've been pre-approved for a loan of $XXX and payments of $XXX!" DO NOT use this website. I can only assume it is a front for information sales to spam calling orgs...
Do not under any circumstances use LoanDepot. They over charge you on mortgage payments are slow and unable to adjust escrow as property taxes change.If you sell your home they hold your escrow account hostage refusing to refund in a timely manner. The reps contradict their own website and cannot provide you were they are quoting the info. I have had to file two CFPB complaints and BBB complaints to resolve issues with them. On June 16th, I did inquire about options for a HELOC/2nd Mortgage for my home. I have since decided not to go that direction. Loan Depot calls me on the 18th of June, I asked them nicely that I was no longer interested and to just please remove me off of the calling list. They asked me to do work and go to their website and request to be unsubscribed from their marketing list. I was not doing that. But the agent on the phone went to the website and did it for me.
