LoanDepot is by far the worst Mortgage / Financial Service company I have ever did business with. If you don't mind being lied to and being talk down to, then do business with them. They told me I was approved for a loan. All I needed was to get the appraisal. it cost me over $400. Then I was told I had to refill my swimming pool in the middle of a drought. We recently have gone through iMortgage to buy our first home. So there has been a large learning curve on my wife and my behalf. We purchased a new DR Horton house in California. After doing a bunch of research we decided to go with a CalHFA loan. The CalHFA loan gave us a half a point off, so we got locked in at 4.250% on a 30 year FHA fixed.
