The new bike came equipped with carbon wheels, but I was dissatisfied with the weight of the wheels and hubs. I consulted with Jerry at LoamLabs, who recommended rebuilding the existing rims with new hubs and Berd spokes. He had the wheels done on a few days, and the performance of the new hubs, along with a weight reduction of approximately 300 grams, has been impressive. I can recommend Jerry at loam labs for all your wheel building needs. A great down-to-earth guy but also very knowledgeable and does not cut corners. will definitely return for future wheel-sets.
