When I was in inpatient rehab, these amazing ladies would come to visit the rehab every week and work with us with these horses. We would get to do weekly activities with the horses and the ladies would minister to us through the word. All I can say is that with the love they have for others, I have been out of rehab and sober for 10 months now. My experiences at Living Life are hard to put into words, but it is the most peaceful place on earth, and the most peace I have felt in a VERY long time. Working with the horses has brought me more joy than I've felt in years. I'm still deep in my grief, but Living Life was the first and most important step in my journey. I can’t say enough good things about the herd and the owners! Melissa and Jayne came to Arista Recovery every week while I was there for 30 day inpatient alcohol rehab. The ladies are so warm and inviting and make you feel like part of the family! They didn’t judge us for being addicts, helped us work thru the pain and tears we shared, and are true blessings!
