Sad to write this, we were really excited to try this place. 2 adults and 2 kids cost $250.00. Very expensive for what you get and staff is not real helpful or friendly. I went with my Daughter and her 3 year and 6 year old. We had a total of 5 items. The bowls were $30.00 each, kitty figurine $25.00, butterfly $45, elf house $55.00 and they charged us $10.00 per person for studio fee. I have been here before and have had a nice experience, today was different. I picked up a piece that had 3 components to it and one was not attached properly and of course it broke. Doing the right thing, I told staff and my opinion was to pay $90 for the piece or $25 to replace the broken piece. Whoever touched the piece before me didn’t replace the piece properly and that should have been on the staff. My daughter and I went on a little adventure to this creative DIY’ers treasure-trove today and had THE BEST time! The staff, Trulie & Mia, were exceptional in every way. They were so helpful, explained our prospective projects to a T, and even managed to upsell me on 2 take-home DIY projects for my son and my mom. I’m not mad about it! My son is so excited to paint his Christmas tree! (In April ;)) Truly a magical afternoon at one of E Vancouver’s best kept secrets. Can’t wait to return!
