If zero was an option, I would use it. I would absolutely NOT recommend this man as your tax preparer! He made numerous mistakes on my mom’s tax return, including even basic information such as the standard deduction amount. In addition, there were even mistakes with transposed numbers. This return indicated that she owed quite a sum of money. My mom spoke with a representative at the IRS and another accountant and found that the entire return was incorrect. Guy is senile. Forgot we had an appointment, had to badger him to get returns filed, called us back multiple times to get basic information, paid a consultation fee yet won't send us email confirming what we discussed. His estimate was way off from what our tax software estimated and he refuses to give us a copy of the returns. He literally hung up on us the last time we called. this man is incompetent and cannot admit when he makes a mistake. He filed my dad‘s taxes in 2021 and screwed them up and I’m still trying to get them fixed for him because he won’t admit he made a mistake. a year and a half I’ve been dealing with this. I urge you go to somebody else. DO NOT USE THIS MAN FOR YOUR TAXES!
This man was going to end up filing my taxes wrong according to what is needed by the 8332. He has no idea what it is or what it involves. He told me to go to someone else and that he has more brains then me and my husband ever would. He told me my refund was 3000 more then what it was supposed to be. He was very ignorant to me because I told him he made a mistake. I would not recommend him for even my worst enemy.
