Great family activity! The proprietor was super knowledgeable about rocks and gems and made the experience fun for everyone.
Got some super cool rocks from the mining buckets. Kids love it!! The staff is knowledgeable and kind.
Our family decided to check out this rock shop and gem mine this weekend. The owners were super friendly and so knowledgeable! Our girls got the $20 and $35 bucket and each got so many goodies. Polished gems, rough gems and rocks, and shark teeth. My youngest daughter has been a collector of natural gems and stones for awhile and what she got in her $35 bucket was more than worth what we paid. All good yet the person working the register wasn't the friendliest. And their prices have dramatically increased
As I was leaving Gatlinburg, after a great stay at Zoder's, I drove by the Fenton.Slag Glass displayed outside of The Little River Gem Mine. I did a U turn and went back. Glad I did. I had a great conversation with Allen. He's a wealth of information. Met his sweet rabbit and purchased several beautiful crystals and geodes.
