I stopped here today after I found this place searching for rockhounding in this area. I'm so glad we went! The guy running the shop was super knowledgeable and we had a great time chatting with him and learned alot. The prices on everything were super reasonable. I highly recommend stopping by and checking it out. I can't wait to break my geode open and see what's inside.
My partner and I had a fantastic time here. There are many beautiful pieces for sale inside and outside - some of museum quality - as well as gem mining. There are even fossils. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable! Very nice cool people!
My husband and I stopped by while we are on our honeymoon and it was an absolute blast! We got the big bucket and had some amazing finds for the price we paid. There was even a geode in the bucket and she opened it for us with a special machine. It's a mom and pop business that feel great about supporting. If we're ever in the area again, we are definitely going back!!
The best mining we’ve ever been to. The owners really try to give the kids a treat and on top of it, they had Fossil mining! My kids begged me to write this 5/5 review. Yes it’s pricier than the others but the bucket is huge and easy for 2-3 kids to share. And the haul was amazing. We got a megalodon tooth, fish fossil, a massive geode that they opened for him on the spot and so much more! We def got more value than what we paid. The staff shared the enthusiasm of my boys which made the experience even more rewarding
I would rate this two stars but the guy who was working the counter had his pet rabbit up there trying to eat the rocks, so I added one star to my review because the rabbit was very fluffy and cute. I was left a bit disappointed with the rest of the experience but I liked the rabbit. I payed 30 dollars for crystals only to discover they were only valued at around 6-12 dollars by my main seller.
