Highly recommend Well kept trail with beautiful vegetation
Nice scrub, pine ratio here. You're not just walking out in the middle of scrub with the blazing sun, you're mainly on the pine perimeter. So you get the best of both, being in the woods and in the scrub. I did both the red and blue loop trails and it totaled about 3.2 miles. About half of the time you could hear the road but it wasn't terrible except at the beginning of the red trail you walk parallel to the road for a minute but thats a fairly short distance and it really quiets down after that. Did a nice hike of about 3 miles. A major section of the trail was still closed due to hurricane damage along the creek/river. Did see a large rattlesnake in the path in the scrub barrons.
Tranquilo, poco concurrido. La mayor parte del recorrido la vegetación es bajita así que hay poca sombra, uniendo las dos rutas (Azul y rojo) fueron un poco mas de 2 millas. En un punto toca cruzar agua sobre un pequeño tronco.
