A great little shop for hard-to-get Korean ingredients. High quality fresh napa cabbage, daikon and perilla leaf available. Helpful and friendly staff, they are so respectful to customers. Some great products available, perfect if you want to start making your own kimchi and want authentic ingredients. Really reasonable pricing. Thanks for bringing Korea to Melbourne.
I called this business before making the trip and specifically asked about the price of Jinro soju. The lady I spoke to told me that all Jinro flavours were $6.99 per bottle. Based on that information, I travelled all the way from Keilor to Oakleigh intending to purchase 30 bottles. When I arrived, I was told that only the original flavour was $6.99 and that all the other flavours were actually $9.99. That is completely different from the information I was given over the phone. Good variety, friendly staff and well stocked. My only issue was that a lot of the signs weren't in English.
