On the plus side: Price sticker for items (unlike some other "Indian" grocery stores); items well organized; and generally quality goods. On the minus side: About a year ago found plain lachchi outdated by about a month. Notice it because of the rotten taste in trying to drink it. Little India is good place for grocery items I have been to this place once. This place is not that big but you will get most of the required grocery items. Apart from groceries, they have wide variety of DVDs, tapes of Indian movies. Conveniently located for Duke University students. Overall it's a good place for grocery purchase.
Friendly people....Large Variety.....competitive rates They have a lot of spices, frozen foods and vegetarian choices. The vegetables are fresh, and you can find more on Thursdays. I would definetely recommend shopping here.
Little India- calling cards the people are friendly its definitely affordable but most of all they have the best calling cards especially making those calls overseas- getting cards here and there hurt my pockets until i discovered their phone cards and the quality of their phone cards were excellent!! Go and buy- you'll see
Indian Grocery This is a small ethnic grocery shop specializing in Indian foods. They carry plenty of spices and vegetarian cuisine. They also have a selection of frozen halal meats. The fresh fruit is in pretty bad shape. The halal meat (the real reason I went there) is really expensive because its frozen and they sell it by weight frozen!
