Our little one has been at Little Acorns just over six months already, going 3-4 days a week consistently. Little Acorns is much more than a daycare - it's a community, a school, and a family. Communication is consistent and transparent. Any issue, illness, or hard conversation is talked through clearly and confidently and without surprise or passiveness. Little Acorns Childcare has been a wonderful experience for our family! The communication was fantastic — we always felt informed and connected. The preschool curriculum is a perfect balance between academic learning and play, and our son was always excited to share what he learned. Little Acorns has been great for our us. We were previously been at a one of the larger centers which was experiencing alot of turnover. A few of our neighbors reccomended Little Acorns and we've been glad we made the switch. The staff were friendly and inviting from the start, and its made drop offs so much easier when our kids faces light up to see them. We sent our newborn daughter to Little Acorns and were very impressed with the entire operation. Great management and competent staff. Every teacher is very kind and considerate. We highly recommend Little Acorns to anyone in the Orono/Long Lake and surrounding area.

We sent our children to Little Acorns from the time they were infants up until preschool and had a great experience there. The teachers, particularly in the older classrooms, have been there for a long time, and truly became like family to us. They were caring and thoughtful, and did an excellent job preparing both kids for kindergarten. The new management is young and full of energy and I cannot recommend them enough. Major peace of mind for working parents.
