Last year, we were referred by our retiring tax preparer to Waterfront to get our 2021 taxes done. We sent in our paperwork a little late, maybe 2-3 weeks before tax day, but Waterfront did not complete our taxes until August, after multiple prods. Speaking of multiple prods, I tried calling them about the lateness and was told we could only interact through their web portal. After a death in the family and a very hectic time, we hired Waterfront to do our taxes at the end of March. We signed the agreement and sent all of our documentation by the deadline Lisa gave us. After not hearing anything for a couple weeks, we tried contacting them several times. When we finally heard back, they said they would not be able to complete our taxes on time but could file an extension.
