The LIRR is very convenient to access NYC and downtown Manhattan from anywhere in Long Island. We took the train from Babylon and reached Penn station, Manhattan in just over an hour. Tickets are easy to purchase online and can be used within 30 days. The access to subway and bus connection were easy to navigate via signs and plenty of eateries and shops were available around Penn Station.

I like the updated LIRR Penn Station. It has allot of food spots to get food from while waiting for train. Has MTA police and customer service if help is needed. It’s pretty clean. I would rather take the LIRR over the subway any day. It’s faster and cleaner

Station well designed, you'll find signals you need, that connects A,E,C trains with all LIRR Raíl Road, the train itself is spacious, clean, you'll enjoy your trip. You could buy the tickets in advance truought the "TrainTime app", once you getted you must to activate the ticket at least 30 minutes BEFORE you board. You could also buy tickets on the vending machines, the staff was kind and helpfull, they always on time, so, check the TrainTime staimated times too.

Convenient, easy, clean and smooth rides to/from Penn Station or Grand Central Station across Long Island ports and towns. The conductor can collect ticket fares by credit card, or one can pay via Ticket machines, kiosks, or by using the LIRR App.
