Unbelievable experience. I was asked for ID in an unreasonable way, and due to poor internet reception, even loading a digital ID took ages. My friend was waiting outside the shop, not buying anything and not drinking with me, yet staff still demanded my friend’s ID. Because of this, I was refused service. I am 33 years old and still dealing with this is ridiculous. This feels like poor staff training and a complete lack of common sense. I’ve lived in this area for years and have never experienced such inflexible service.
Rude customer service. walked in 5 minutes before closing, was looking at Whisky and 2 minutes before closing (while he was mid serving someone) looks over and yells out to me "I'm closing now" like he wanted me to leave immediately, I went to the counter to pay for the bottle and no Hello, How are you, or Thank you. As I was being served he told another lady she couldn't come in with an arrogant tone.
