Since 1981 it has provided the essentials. After almost 42 years the centre closed on 30 th July 2023. The signs at the centre stated see you 2025 however this has not been honoured. The centre's future is uncertain. As a person who attended on opening day and the final day I will miss it. But from a business point of view it needs to be updated to be competitive. A new Coles supermarket operates at the nearby Caulfield Village.
I spend $150 a week at caulfueld plaza -This afternoon at 3.45 I spent $20. Gor lunch box s, cards for my grandchildren. Got 2 Turkish delight for $4 and girls opened them up abd they had mould in them. This has never happened before and I feel sick. It’s not the $4 but the disappointment I got. It's a shopping centre I go to for the Coles, although the Coles is closing down so I won't need to go there much longer.
