I got a ticket the day after Christmas. I had been driving for hours and I was 10 minutes from my destination. I was going 80 in a 55 I understand my speed was high. What I don’t understand is how a place like Linn County, after learning all my options to reason with them, after being informed that this ticket was going to financially hurt someone who doesn’t deserve it STILL charged me the highest violation and only took $35 dollars off. Its a courthouse. What can I say about it??? It was here when i had traffic court. Staff were friendly and check in was easy.
It's been over 2 weeks, still no reinstatement of my DL. After Paying the Ticket I caught in Oregon while dropping off my kid to UofO and Paying the excessive $85 Reinstatement fee Although I'm from Florida. My License is still suspended. The kicker is they Close on Fridays, like every Friday. Obviously can't get your work done in a short work week without inconveniences, especially DL issues. Get your stuff together Linn County Justice Court. Really this is extremely below standards.
Here you want to know why this court system only has a 1.6 star rating well because this court system misuses their power they don't offer lawyers for certain charges they act like they run the whole show and the women at the front desk to take your money are so rude this place here is a disgrace to the American justice system needs to be shut down and things need to be handled through Linn county municipal Court or they belong if it's traffic infraction
