We booked Mara for a last night dinner in Dornoch and it has been our very favorite dinner of the trip, maybe even top 5 ever together. The place is beautiful and the service is fantastic! The food was absolutely incredible- simple, but elevated and delicious! We had the beef, potatoes and ceasar, along with the apple cranachan for dessert! Everything was 10/10! If we were staying longer, I would book here again!
We had a great stay here. It‘s rare to get historic buildings like this hotel in such perfect condition. The service was great, especially during breakfast. Dinner was incredible as well. The location is right between golf course, beach and town centre so everything is walkable from here. We will definitely return.
Loved this hotel. The staff and food top class and our stay was amazing. Especially love the decor and the comfort of the rooms so comfortable , they have thought of everything will definitely be back and thank you for a lovely evening
If you ever wanted to stay at a home-like hotel this is the place, for good food and comfort.
Better than Turnberry and maybe Pebble Beach....
