Lindsay did an amazing job on my four well loved dining room chairs. They had suffered from being subjected to flood water and then left in a shed for 6 months while we redid the inside of the house. They kept going for a bit then they all collapsed into pieces. Lindsay took the pieces, removed all the previous restorations and rebuilt them essentially from scratch. I am very happy with the restoration work Lyndsay completed on our dining and carver chairs. The work is very high quality, the finished products look fantastic, and at a fair price for the work involved.
Lindsay restored an old family sideboard for us. It was in very sad condition. He brought the sideboard back to life, even sourcing handles to match the originals. His communication was fantastic and he kept us up to date with the progress. He was very reasonably price for the work that was done. Highly recommended.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! A Professional and outstanding craftsman. We had purchased what was said to be an 1800s French display cabinet. However, on pick up the top glass door flew off and smashed into many pieces. We approached Lindsay to restore it. He identified that the cabinet had been modified several times but that the front and structure was original, and that the top and bottom doors had not been secured by the hinges but rather nails. I inherited a 300yo oak cabinet that was feeling everyone of its years: bits missing, bits falling off. Lindsay worked his magic on it and it now looks brand new, ready for the next 300 years.
