I inherited a 300yo oak cabinet that was feeling everyone of its years: bits missing, bits falling off. Lindsay worked his magic on it and it now looks brand new, ready for the next 300 years. You can see it in the gallery. Lindsay is highly skilled and if you need anything restored, you could not find anyone better for the task.
Excellent work. Perfect restoration for my 1870s sideboard. Now I have a table beautifully restored. Both pieces were in need of extensive work. I am so delighted with the results for both pieces.
We have a side board which has been in my wife’s family for over 90 years. It has been well used over those years, polished and painted a number of times. The side board has huge sentimental value and we decided to restore it and looked for someone local to do the work and found Lyndsay’s website. Lindsay has given new life to my desk, a late 19th century writing desk with a gold embossed leather top. I have used this beautiful desk for over 60 years. With a new french leather top, drawers that now do not stick and a stunning restoration it has another 80 years of life. Lindsay's workmanship is very impressive. He obviously has a depth of knowledge and skill. i would recommend Lindsay to anyone wanting their furniture restored.
