Excellent work. Perfect restoration for my 1870s sideboard. Now I have a table beautifully restored. Both pieces were in need of extensive work. I am so delighted with the results for both pieces.
We have a side board which has been in my wife’s family for over 90 years. It has been well used over those years, polished and painted a number of times. The side board has huge sentimental value and we decided to restore it and looked for someone local to do the work and found Lyndsay’s website. Lindsay has given new life to my desk, a late 19th century writing desk with a gold embossed leather top. I have used this beautiful desk for over 60 years. With a new french leather top, drawers that now do not stick and a stunning restoration it has another 80 years of life. Lindsay's workmanship is very impressive. He obviously has a depth of knowledge and skill. i would recommend Lindsay to anyone wanting their furniture restored.
I recently inherited my fathers Partners desk. Originally 45 years ago it was his work office desk it slowly deteriorated and became a workshop desk and then a workbench. It was damaged by fire also. When the facility closed he bought the desk fo $1 and took it home cleaned it and continued to use it in his study for 20 years. When he passed he left it to me in his will.
